Send me a photo of your loved one and I will make a beautiful, highly detailed graphite portrait for you!

You can send me a hard copy via mail (go to the contact page and email me, then I will email you back with my physical address) or email me a digital version. Either way, the photo needs to be of good quality and the bigger the size the better.

• A portrait consists of head and shoulders. For more of the body or background details there is an extra charge to be determined
• Details are important because I use them to make the drawing look like the person and if they are not there I can not make them up. Make sure your photo has good lighting and is not out-of focus. There should be a clear contrast between the person and the background. For example a person with black hair against a black background would not be the best choice of photo.
• It would help to send several photos if you think the main picture is not very strong so that I can get a better understanding of the persons face. Make sure they are from the same time period.

Digital picture:

• A digital photo should be at least 150 KB so that I can get it printed out to a 4x6. If you can set the resolution please set it to at least 300 dpi, or pixels per inch. When in doubt send the biggest photo file you can.

Hard copy:

• Mail me a 4x6 or larger. I will return any photos with the final drawing, but I cannot guarantee they will be in the exact same condition since I handle them while I am working. A copy is always best.
